I am currently an undergraduate student at Rice University, and I am interested in studying computer science and human justice issues during my time at Rice.

Proposed Topic

I would like to edit and revise the Wikipedia page on Black maternal mortality in the United States. I believe this is an important topic because the US's maternal mortality rates are especially high for a developed country, and women across the US, especially Black women, are losing their lives due to discrimination. This page could be improved by adding newer information and changing the organization of the page. Some sections, such as the Historical Context section, could also be developed further.
