About me (in bullets)
[edit]- Following the 2016 US presidential election, I started becoming more interested in politics, political science, fact checking and journalism.
- I have always been interested in media production and "tinkering" with technology. This extends into areas such as:
- Video production and post-production
- Sound recording and reproduction
- Analog recording
- interested in records, but not an avid user
- I used to love playing with cassette tapes and tape decks, especially when I was learning to play the violin.
- I learned via the Suzuki method, which involved playing by ear. Tape recordings were instrumental (ha ha, pun intended) for this.

- My current goal is to get a communications degree that will hopefully help me to take my hard science background into fields such as journalism, science communication (e.g., Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson), science journalism, or media criticism.
- I'd like to engage more with Wikipedia articles to practice and hone my skills with research and copywriting/copyediting.
