Kyle Whitmore (born December 29,1992) is an American Board Certified Behavior Analyst currently working with children with autism.BACB Credential

Biography

Kyle Whitmore was born to Bruce Whitmore & Mary Ann Whitmore in Newton, Massachusetts on December 29, 1992. He lived in Billerica until moving to Bedford to begin school. In high school, his mother Mary Ann was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, and she passed away on June 16th, 2009. Obituary Kyle spent the rest of his junior year in and out of school with depressive episodes. Kyle Whitmore graduated Bedford High School in 2011. BHS Graduation Class During which he was awarded the Lance Corporal Travis R Desiato Memorial Scholarship Award. Kyle pursued a psychology & sociology degree at Louisiana State University in the college of humanities and social sciences in 2015. LSU Commencement in 2018 Kyle continued into a Master's degree within the Department of Special Education obtaining a Master's of Science in Behavior Analysis from Bay Path University in 2020. Kyle then went to get certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board obtaining Board Certified Behavior Analyst status on September 30th, 2020.

Professional Career

Early career (2010-2020) Kyle began his career as a camp counselor for the Bedford Summer Adventures, working with children from ages 4 to 12. Success with handling large groups of atypical and neurotypical students encouraged Kyle to pursue a career in working with children. During the winter months of his college years Kyle worked at [Theatres] where he was introduced to Gerardo I. Lopez, [I Lopez] who encouraged him with a personal anecdote of "Before I was the CEO of AMC, I was VP of Seattle's Best Coffee, I make a deal so good with AMC, they want me to join AMC! Find a place that you can impress and is impressed by you." During his graduate years, Kyle began his career as a behavior technician working his way to becoming a Registered Behavior Technician during his Master's degree and finally becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
