The Awakened White Knight (覚醒 の 白き 騎士, Kakusei no Shiroki Kishi) is the second episode of the anime Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion. It was first aired on 12 October, 2006.
Summary
[edit]The episode begins with Lelouch talking to the girl's body, asking her what did she want him to do with the weird power she gave him. Suddenly, a Britannian Knightmare, the same one who chased Nagata, blasts the wall and enters the warehouse, seeing the entire special troop squad dead and one live student. She tries to ask Lelouch what happened, and even uses her Knightmare's rifle to intimidate him, but he doesn't respond. Lelouch tries to make her come out of the Knightmare with his power, but it doesn't work. He understands that it will only work with eye contact, so he makes a story that he is the son of duke, and that there is an ID in his back pocket. That made the pilot come out, and Lelouch ordered her the first moment he could to give him her Knightmare. When she came back to her senses, both Lelouch and the Knightmare were gone and she didn't remember anything.
The scene changes to Suzaku waking up in a medical trailer in Shinjuku, under the care of the researchers Lloyd and Cecil. It seems the Suzaku didn't die because of an old pocket-watch. He wants to ask about Lelouch, but instead asks about the current situation. The told him that the poison gas was released, and that there are many casualties amongst the Elevens but the criminal wasn't caught yet. Llyod then asks Suzaku how much exprience does he have of piloting a Knightmare. Suzaku answer that none, since an 11 can't become a knight. To his surprise, they offer him the keys to a special Knightmare unit, which could make his dreams come true.
About the same time, Shirley, Lelouch's friend from school, is getting a call from him. She wants to know where he is, but he just asks if there's a television in there. Shirley finds one, and Lelouch asks if there's anything on the news about Shinjuku but they say there's nothing but traffic jams. From this, Lelouch deducts that the army will announce it after it's gone. He then asks Shirley to tell his sister that he will be home late and hangs up, much to Shirley's frustration.
