The Hamek War[1][2] was one of the biggest battles in the world. It was fought in Hamek area[3] near Kirkuk in 17/5/1992 when the Ba'ath Party tried to enter Hamek village and destroy it Ba'ath army had to cross a bridge to reach the village but Peshmerga put a bomb there and when Ba'has army went to the bridge they detonated the bomb and started defending This resulted in the death of more than +72 Ba'athist soldiers. As a result of heavy fighting, the Ba'athist army retreated and 4 of the Peshmergas were killed
