The Honor 8x is a smartphone made by Huawei under their Honor sub-brand. It is a successor of the Huawei Honor 8x within the Huawei Honor series.[1]

[edit]The Honor 8X sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels, the additional dexterity of the crisp 396 PPI pixel density and a modern 19.5:9 aspect ratio together deliver a satisfying visual experience. On the camera department, this phone flashes 20MP + 2MP dual primary cameras with PDAF and dual flash which click sharp, life-like pictures with pleasant colour reproductions. The front camera is 16MP and takes detailed selfies.
Storage and Configuration
[edit]Storage-wise the Honor 8X carries a rather average 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 400GB which is definitely welcome. This device is powered by Huawei own HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset with two quad-core Cortex A53 processors which can achieve up to 2.2GHz of clock speed. With the additional prowess of Mali-T830 MP2 GPU and a 4GB of RAM, this phone delivers a fluid performance, be it apps or games. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security.
Battery and Connectivity
[edit]Battery-wise the Honor 8X features a hefty 3,750mAh Li-Polymer cell and it power this phone throughout the day with ease. This is a 4G Volte compatible smartphone with dual nano-sim slots, the second slot being hybrid. Given that, all networks should work without issue on this phone. Additional networking features include WIFI and Bluetooth, location support is A-GPS and Glonass assisted. On the ports department, it features a standard micro USB charging port and a 3.5 mm audio jack for your wired headphones. The phone comes with 64 or 128 gigabytes of storage and 4 or 6 GB of RAM, depending on region. It has a 6.5-inch (17 cm) display with a pixel resolution of 1920x1080 and pixel density of 397 ppi.[2][3] The Honor 8x has an 16 MP front-facing camera and its dual rear camera setup consists of a 12 MP RGB lens and a 20-megapixel monochrome lens.[1][2][3] It can record video in 1080p and has electronic image stabilization for 1080p video.[3] Other features include dual-SIM support, a microUSB port, and a Fingerprint (rear-mounted).
