"Kujta&Meri" Fashion

Kujtim Berisha was born on 11 July 1970 in the town of Gjakova, Republic of Kosovo. Professional experienced designer in the fashion world, at the age of ten years old it was his raw talent and his will to design got him working and has not stopped ever since. In the late 80s, Kujta along with his brothers opened atelien with small quantity of wardrobe, but high level of quality for the former jugasllav market. Thanks to the talents of Kujta, success quickly reached a high level of manufacturing firm, by leading the company with much more enthusiasm towards a production of sophisticated and high quality clothing line. The great success was achieved also thanks to tradition of the family. In 1990 Kujta founded his own atleien, and thus began to create very special designs His imaginations and expressions always led to creating a line for women. It was not accidentally that women began to like his style, but his imagination and creativity that led to his rapid client growth, and at times it was difficult to respond to all of the request as he was working alone and at that particular time the conditions and times wore rather minimal. In 1991 he meets Meri, and so began combining their creative paths toward success and elegant styles. Meri’s design styles started attracting Kujta’s attention, though he w as always a fierce critic of fashion. So day by day their elite and elegant dresses began to be popularized among modern women. All celebrities and public figures all over the country started appreciating and respected the unique, brilliance and exclusive designs of K&M that they knew how to design elegant dresses that are made to fit goddesses K & M had always dreamed of taking their designs at the fashion capital of the world in Milan, Italy. Through many contacts and many trips to Milan, they were invited to present their creations in 2009 during a Milan Fashion Week 2009, which it did not disappoint them, as it was greatly appreciated by the Italian media and fashion institutions Kujta & Meri broke the boundaries of their country when they were invited to present their collections for women at Milan Fashion Week held by Critical Fashion. Since 2009 in Milan K & M enjoy the respect from the media, journalists and professionals fashion and culture in Italy As a result they were invited to attend the clothing Eksposita Houte Couture Art & Gallery in Milan in 2009 K & M are the first designers Albanian-Kosovo that were introduced in the market of world fashion centers, such as Milan, Rome, and Palermo. In 2014, they introduced dresses in fashion week in Berlin, Fashion Week Berlin.

While in 2018 Kujta & Meri were the Bollywood actress’s choice-they are Parineeti Chopra’s parishion for wearing a glamorous dress on Bollywood’s red carpet,
