Karthick K U is an Indian film lyricist, who works predominantly in Tamil movie industry. He made his debut in the film industry just a few years ago and had carved a niche for himself; He has worked in movies that included music composers like Anirudh, Vivek Mervin , Santhosh Narayanan etc.

His Personal Life :

He hails from Ooty and he always says his interest towards writing lyrics and script has come from his father.

He is an MBA graduate, before joining Film Industry he was a part of one of the leading banks in the country .

His Professional Life;

He has done more than 70 films in a short span of time. He wrote song for various legendary heroes such as “Super Star Rajnikanth” “Dance Master Prabhu Deva” “Vijay Sethupathi “ and Siva Karthikeyan etc .

His lyrics 'Daavuya Novuaa No Vaenaamyyaa' was sung by Santhosh Narayanan which was from the movie ‘Remo .’ Anirudh Ravichander composed the music. His another prominent lyric for the song ' Ra Ra Ra,' which was composed by Vivek Mervin . The song of 'Dora ' had youthful flavor, and it was considered a peppy number.

"Aha kalyanam from Petta” and “Vikkalu Vikkalu from Gulaebaghavali are dancing numbers which went viral and reached about 170 million views in You Tube . Apart from films he has contributed to individual albums and commercials advertisements too .

"Summa semma Zomato” is a recent commercial advertisement which has gone viral and Anirudh is the composer .

He did various songs in various banners which includes Sony Music etc .
