Orphans Aid International is a New Zealand Registered Charitable Trust that provides care for children and young people who are orphaned, abandoned or who are at risk of abandonment.[1] Care provided includes housing, education and healthcare, with projects currently in Romania, Russia, Uganda, and India (add ref). Orphans Aid International was founded in 2004 by Sue Van Schreven and the first project was establishing Casa Kiwi in Romania, to care for orphaned and abandoned children (add refs).
