Babalola Najim Akorede holds Master Degree in Information Science at African Regional Centre for Information Science, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. Currently, he is a postgraduate Student of School Library and Media Technology, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria.

He is a Member of Nigerian School Library Association, International Association of School Librarianship, Library 2.0, Internet Society, Nigeria. He is interested in how emerging technologies can be used in driving school library in Nigeria.

He presented paper at the Oyo State National Library Association (NLA) Conference, 2019 and New England Technical Services Librarians (NETSL) 2020.
