SnapListings.ca was launched in November, 2010. The launch coincided with the Canadian Real Estate Association's entering into a settlement agreement with [Competition Bureau], pursuant to which CREA agreed to require its members to permit Canadian real estate agents to offer flat fee "mere posting" MLS listings. Unfortunately, very few Canadian real estate agents offer consumers flat fee "mere posting" MLS listing services. Snaplistings.ca connects Canadian consumers with real estate brokers in various Canadian provinces willing to offer flat fee "mere posting" MLS listing services.

Snaplistings.ca is a non-broker member of the Canadian Real Estate Brokers Alliance.
