wiki jazz ultimate cleanup list has piles; here are a few articles tagged for lacking sources/citations (if there's no template at the top, search page for "citation" & there'll be in-line notes):
if you want to create a new article, Chubbles has a *wildly* comprehensive list of missing American music (people/labels/etc. who have articles in german but not english wiki), like...
interlanguage links + talk page copy
I've removed the interlanguage links, which aren't the best idea because 1) people are less likely to realize those artists are missing Wikipedia pages, especially if there's no language abbreviation; 2) it's rarely useful for those using the English Wikipedia to be sent to a page in another language; and 3) often content standards differ across Wikipedias. The German Wikipedia has much better coverage of avant-/contemporary jazz, but––as much as I hate to say it!––the vast majority of those articles do not have the number and quality of references expected to verify info on the English Wikipedia.
However! If anyone wants to put all of them back, there's an interlanguage link template that leaves a redlink but turns the language abbreviation blue:
If you use that template & fill in "Tomas Fujiwara" and "de," you get Tomas Fujiwara [de], rather than de:Tomas Fujiwara––takes a little longer, but good for inline article use as it gives a link without confusing the reader.
I'm not redoing all of them like this––I've left as many redlinks as I'm comfy with––but if anyone wants to put any back in, here's a list of what the article had before my last edit: xxx.
Also also! I recommend checking to see if any of them aren't already included on Wiki User Chubbles' Missing American music page; it's a great resource, as it tracks subjects included only in non-English (mostly German) wikis & gives people a heads up about articles that just take an auto-translate to give some easy article-start copy.
