[edit]Let's reference 1 here for practice.... [1]
Let's add a cite to something using the cite tool for a book on Bananas. I got this by choosing the book template and inserting the ISBN number and clicking on the magnifying glass.
Cite web is probably the best for my stuff....
Go to "Template: Cite Court" on course page to cite a court case in proper format
Also template for citing US code from course page (will link directly to code on proper web page)
Adding box on the right from template as well (also on course page). choose from district court, etc.
Best primary sources:
- Google Scholar
Make sure and make all statements objective. If the source is subjective, make sure and make that clear at the reference site.
Search for templates in bar on top right type "Template:"
Also click on magnifying glass and then on advanced to search in specific category
Keep neutral point of view
Lead section should be quick synopsis or abstract summarizing content of the article
Lead section, don't need references in it...
Look at the Adobe v. SSI and Lane v. Facebook discussion pages to see what we did in the wikipedia lecture
