Elevation Burger is a hamburger restaurant in Falls Church, Virginia serving organic burgers and fries cooked in olive oil. Saveur Magazine credits them with being the first organic hamburger restaurant in the country[1]. Elevation Burger was founded in September 2005 by Hans Hess, who is also the founder of enviroCAB, which operates in the neighboring town of Arlington, Virginia. Elevation Burger currently has 7 locations mostly on the East Coast and Texas[2]. Elevation Burger signed its first international franchise deal in February 2010 and has plans to open several restaurants in Kuwait. The first restaurant is slated to open mid-2010 [3].
