Kathleen Dillon Carroll is the founder and Chief Branding Strategist. Ms. Carroll started her career with Procter & Gamble in the late 1980's spending 7 years in Brand Management in Food and Health & Beauty Care in both the US and European Headquarters. She gained a reputation as a turnaround artist for ailing brands. She worked for H.J. Heinz for two years before starting a career in management consulting with Marketing Corporation of America. At MCA, Kathleen was a Principle leading the financial services practice. She earned a reputation for providing excellent brand positioning and new product & services ideas for her clients. She left MCA to become the CMO of an internet grocer which was later sold to Peapod/Ahold. Before starting The Branding Clinic, Kathleen was CMO of the CNBC.com operation before it was sold to Microsoft. Kathleen founded The Branding Clinic with the encouragement of her American Express client and her advertising agency President, Bob Killian to whom she is eternally grateful.
Kathleen is hired as a brand positioning and new product development/innovation expert by leading marketing and consulting firms like: Faith Popcorn BrainReserve, FutureBrand, Fusion5, Grey Advertising, Vivaldi Partners. She appears, speaks and gives workshops at industry events and judges the hotel industry's annual HSMAI awards for the best advertising.
Kathleen believes from her years on both the client and consulting side that projects are best when they are staffed with the top talent. Hence her business model consists of working with many alliance partners in the key marketing disciplines of Qualitative & Quantitative Market Research, Business Research, Concept Writing, Advertising, Consumer & Trade Promotions, Public Relations and Social Media.
