FloQast FloQast is an accounting software vendor providing close management software for corporate accounting departments. The company is privately held and is backed by Toba Capital, Polaris Partners, Wavemaker Partners, Danmar Capital and AmplifyLA[1]. The company was founded in 2013 by Mike Whitmire[2], Chris Sluty and Cullen Zandstra and is headquartered Los Angeles, California[3]. Mike Whitmire and Chris Sluty are certified public accountants (CPA’s) and former accountants. The FloQast Software as a Service (SaaS) offering is sold to accounting teams typically with three or more accountants to help automate the month-end closing process. Many of its customers are mid-market companies in North America[4]. FloQast’s customer base consists of companies such as GrubHub, Twilio, Ancestry, Golden State Warriors, and Zillow[5].
