Two Sheds Records is an American record label formed in Jackson, Mississippi in 1996. John Graham, the label's founder, started this label originally to release 4-track recording he himself had been producing, and to help distribute the recordings of his friends. The label released its first recording in 1997, and followed that with the distribution of three other titles that are no longer in print.
After relocating to Atlanta in 1998, Two Sheds began releasing records that focused on local bands from Atlanta and Athens areas as well as regional promotion and distribution. The success of the label, however, and the bands on its roster increased the scope of it's operations to nationwide promotional efforts. To this day, the label still stays true to its original mission by focusing primarily on Atlanta and Athens bands.
The label has released many acts from the Southeast over the years, most notably being Jet By Day's release The Day the Earth Stood Still/Shadows Taller Than Our Soul (split w/The Blindfold Parade) (Two Sheds, 2001) and Young Antiques Clockworker in 2003, the latter being featured on MTV's Sorority Life and Fraternity Life, as well as lead singer Blake Rainey's song "Like Leaves" featured on Son's Of Hollywood.
