Dan Hillier (born 10th January 1975, Oxford, England) is a contemporary artist living and working in London, England.
Dan Hillier graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge in 199- with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design.
Dan lives as an artist working from Hackney in East London, making his work by mixing collaged elements taken from 1800s sources with digital and ink drawing. Taking influence from ancient artistic traditions, religious iconography, spiritual practice, psychedelics and dear old mother nature, as well as more modern artists such as Max Ernst and the artisan engravers of the Victorian era,
Dan's work has been a shown in galleries as diverse as the Louvre in Paris, the Saatchi Gallery in London and Think Conservatory in New York City.
Dan's artwork Pachamama appears on the cover of UK Brit Award winners Royal Blood's, eponymous debut, number one album.
Dan's latest collaboration is with Shakespear's Globe Theatre, Emma Rice, the Theatres new Creative director approached Dan to illustrate the 'Wonder' season starting April 2016
