Kirkdale Bsc Hons MA

Not my real name of course. I originally wanted to be a rock star and had fours years of guitar lessons with a chap called Rob Harris who now is in Jamiroquai, however a tendency to stage fright put paid to my dream of being a guitarist. I studied Biomedicine for three years, and during a research project on psychotic illness and brain function I stumbled onto Art History, I later studied an Art History MA and ended up working with international artists such as El Anatsui, Machiko Agano and Fiona Foley. I now work as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, and have worked on various projects, the most fun being the Waysted World illustration for the Waysted Album called "Harsh Reality" and various manga style illustrations. I also work as an examiner for OCR (examination board). The other day I thought I might add some stuff to wikipedia. My main interest is in neuroarthistory, Semir Zeki, and less well known but very interesting people such as Denys Spittle. When I have a time I will do an entry on Machiko Agano - a Japanese artist, and then perhaps the Mauritian artists Vaco and Krishna Luchoomun.
