Nkosi Mnguni Who is Known as King 97 Sa 23 Years old upcoming artist From Durban isipingo King 97 Started as a house/gqom Dj back in the year 2014 at that time he was still doing grade 11 then the year later he started music production king 97 joined a group Called EzaseWestRecords at Year of 2019. EzaseWestRec is group of 3 young dj/producers.

King 97 released he first-gqom single with the late Dj Ministo called Rush hour in the year 2016 which had 1k downloads within 3 days after the release and that really gave king 97 the motivation to carry on with the music career.

King 97 was 5 weeks dj champion in dj mix competition in Ntokozo FM in the year 2018 And king 97 release a track called Dansa Wena featuring dj jeje and LaSaint which hit 1 on Reverb nation chants for 2 months.

King 97 is not just an artist king 97 is a brand becouse he has he's own clothing brand and in 2019 king 97 partnered with aliveshoes online shoe campany from italy and king 97 has design a he's own shoe which was launched in Feb 2020
