İdris İvedik (Kars), is a Turkish-Spanish architect living in the Basque-inhabited city of Bilbao. He is the uncle of Recep İvedik, from the father side.

[edit]İdris İvedik was born on Kars, Turkey. His mother Ayşe İvedik (1924–1998), was a native of Erzurum and graduated from primary school, and his father, Mehmet İvedik (1909–2005), was from Kars, formerly a part of the Russian Empire, and well-educated in agricultural and livestock.

[edit]İdris İvedik began education at the primary school in Kars, at age 7. He was then educated in high school in Istanbul between 1974 and 1977.
Life in Spain
[edit]İdris İvedik was originally educated at the Ankara University Engineering Faculty, but due to some reasons, he went to Spain in 1978, due to the less-populated Turkish community there, and continued his studies at the University of Madrid. He was graduated from the university in 1980, and in 1983, he was married with local Spaniard woman, Maria Gonzalez (born July 22, 1963). He had two children, one man and one woman.
