Farangi sazi (Persian: فرنگی سازی) is a style of hybrid Perso-European known for its use of chiaroscuro and perspective; its allegorical, often biblical, imagery; and its particular interest in European figures, especially women. This style reached its prime during Suleiman of Persia's reign (1666 – 1694).[1]
