The 75th Anniversary of the Great Victory.

In 2020, we have the opportunity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the victory over the Nazis. 75 years ago, on May 8, 1945, the German surrender act was signed in Berlin. The Great Patriotic War began during the Second World War. The Great Patriotic War lasted from 1941 to 1945. This was not the longest war. But our country suffered huge losses during this war. Many people became heroes, many died on the battlefield, many worked in the rear, and many were captured by the enemy. The victory was won by common forces. All people tried to achieve this goal at any cost. And they were able to do it. After the victory, our country had to recover for a very long time. Many families have lost loved ones and their property. It was very difficult for them to survive. Women got lost in their work. Children were born old. The imprint of the war has been imposed for many years. But now, in peacetime, some people have begun to forget about these terrible events. So that we remember the great feat of our ancestors, a lot of different events are held. You can find a lot of books about the events of the Great Patriotic War. For example, M. Sholokhov's book "The Fate of a Man" very well shows the full burden of war. Such books are very interesting. They usually cover a lot of issues. Everyone will be interested to read about it. But if the books don't suit you, you can watch great war films. They are usually very sentimental, but after such films, a lot of thoughts arise in your head. Every year in Moscow, on Red Square, a very large-scale and beautiful victory parade is held, which is broadcast on Channel One on TV. This parade is usually held on May 9th. May 9 is an official holiday - Victory Day, but this year it was held on June 24, just like 75 years ago. No pandemic can prevent us from honoring the heroes of our homeland.
