This script is obsolete. A recent update to the CodeEditor extension has built-in syntax checking based on JSHint. This page is kept for historical interest.
cksyntax checks user scripts and gadgets in the MediaWiki: namespace for syntax errors before saving the page. Non-JavaScript pages are not handled. It uses your own browser's parsing engine to do the work. Works best on Firefox and Opera. On Chrome/Chromium, it only shows whether an error has been detected, not where it is located. There is little that can be done about this.
