BACKGROUND With a unique blend of afro-beats, fascinating lyrics and a robust stage-presence, Skinny G redefines modern day artistry. Born Emmanuel Sedem Agbenyegah in Accra, Ghana, He stands as one of the most promising prospects in the music & entertainment industry. At age three, his family moved to Eswatini. Many would see this as a stumbling block, but not for Skinny. He has stayed true to his Central-African heritage as he navigates between both cultural experiences.

RECOGNITION When he dropped the single ‘Oh Noo!’ In 2017, at just 19 years, he quickly got the attention of one of Eswatini’s leading mucus journalist fifidope. The broadcaster described Skinny G as one of the most diverse artists in the local music scene and predicted his rise to global recognition in the not so distant future.It was not long before his prediction began to catch steam. CAREER Skinny G is currently signed to G-Stars Entertainment and Projects, a stable in the Kingdom of Eswatini. His publishing credits took center-stage in 2018 when he was featured by South Africa’s dynamic issue: Hype magazine. But according to the rapper, his most cherished contribution was releasing a single which spoke over the controversy surrounding Eswatini’s Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence (SODV) bill which was enacted into law early 2019. For years the country has struggled against domestic violence against women and minors. With music composition still at its infancy stage in the kingdom, the arte activism around this topic has helped many paint the music culture in a positive light.

INFLUENCE He prides himself as one of the few artists to possess a unique African sound. He draws inspiration from seasoned African acts like Davido, Sarkodie, Nasty C, Gemini Major to mention but a few. He describes his music as the future.
