b1914 Victoria. Teacher 1934 south of Salmon Ar, 1950 School inspector n BC. Elected SC in PG 1953. 1954 WAC Bennett cabinet as Min of Ed. Min Lands and Forests 56-72, implemented two rivers policy and expanded BC Parks system. Lost seat 1972, became Forest Industry Consultant, ran govt owned Pulp and Paper mill at Ocean Falls. [1]
