Dream Child is an International supergroup[1][2] conceptualized by Frontiers Records president Serafino Perugino and former Dio guitarist Craig Goldy (Resurrection Kings, ex-Giuffria). The line-up includes Wayne Findlay (ex-Michael Schenker Group), Simon Wright (Operation: Mindcrime, ex-Dio, ex-AC/DC, ex-UFO), Rudy Sarzo (ex-Dio, ex-Quiet Riot, ex-Ozzy Osbourne, ex-Whitesnake) and Diego Valdez (Helker, Lords of Black).[3]
The band was conceived during a brainstorming session between Coldy and Perugino Serafino (President of Frontiers Records) while discussing other matters. Coldy had been listening to his favorite bands a lot recently, Deep Purple and Rainbow's Rising album. During the very first public memorial for Ronnie James Dio, Coldy had mentioned that whenever he do start writing original material again that he would utilize everything that he had learned from working side by side with the Master for so many years in such a way that he would hope to make him proud. The name is inspired by one of his lyrics on the Dream Evil album.[4]
Their first and only album is Until Death Do We Meet Again produced by Italian Alessandro Del Vecchio in 2018.[5][6][7]
