Hey, this is Kekasih13's (not my real name) user page. I am a young woman who LOVES reading and writing, especially writing, and - of course - Wikipedia. (It's saved my skin several times, especially when I had to research topics otherwise inaccessible to anyone without a private library.) I am Indonesian but my first language is English and I am currently learning French. My life outside of books, Microsoft Word and Wikipedia consists of friends, family, and trying to avoid rotten cabbage while living life to the fullest.
Kekasih13 is pronounced keuh-kah-SIH-thirteen and is based on an Indonesian word, kekasih (meaning "sweetheart") and an English number, 13 (meaning "thirteen"). Originally I tried the username gemini_girl but there is already a user with a name similar to that so Wikipedia balked. (It isn't very fun to have a website balk at you.) It growled and demanded I change . . . or DIE!!! (Just kidding!) So I did. Change my name, I mean, not die.
I am a young woman (not telling how young) with short, messy black hair and dark skin. I'm an Indonesian Muslim who was born in Europe (my parents were there legally, mind) and raised with English as a first language, Indonesian as second, Bahasa Jawa as third (not very fluent) and French as fourth, though I want to learn German or Dutch. I have a younger brother, plan on studying journalism in college and dream of working as a journalist, editor, or diplomat.
So far I've lived in many different countries and visited a lot more. Those of you who survived the three previous sections will know that I speak French, a skill grace to the fact that I lived in France for two years and am working on my second in Douala, Cameroon. The armpit of Africa, it's called - I miss Jakarta very much.
