From 1990 to 1992 demo songs and videos were created, but the musical trend in the United States in the early 1990s was mainly grunge and again there was no record deal. In 1992 Carl tried to make a USA version of Persian Risk successful in Florida, But even for this band, time and place did not seem to be favourable. Alongside Don Airey on keyboards, Carl collaborated on his solo CD with Harry James (drums) and Chris Childs (bass) from Thunder. Mind Doctor was well received by the critics. The success with Persian Risk in the early 1980s and the idea of what would have become of the band if they stayed together prompted Carl Sentance to revive the band. After failing to win for a second try, the band's former band members found new fellow musicians in Howie G. (guitar), Jason Banks (guitar), Wayne Banks (bass) and Tim Brown (drums) for the reissue of Persian Risk , In autumn 2012, the album Once a king was released , which was received very positively by the critics.
