My name is Kate, and I'm an editor from North Carolina interested in food insecurity, religion, and racial inequality. I am a current student at Rice University planning to double major in Political Science and Social Policy Analysis and minor in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. In the fall of 2020, I spent a significant amount of time editing the article Racial segregation of churches in the United States. Though it did not reach good article status, I made improvements to increase the scope and neutrality of the article. In the spring of 2021 I became a student editor for the article Eviction in the United States, adding sections on the history of eviction and the discrepancies among eviction rates.
This semester, I am working to create a page on Women in Untied States National Government.
