Kaulai Community (kha-u-lie) is simply known as Kaulai Village. The village is located in the middle of maind island Woodlark Island in Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.

There is only one species of mammal on the island, the Woodlark Cuscus (Phalanger lullulae). It is in the Trobriand Islands rain forests ecoregion.
