Just Kait is an American pop/punk band, emerging from Toms River, New Jersey, currently signed to 2N2 Productions.

Biography

Kait grew up in Toms River, New Jersey. Upon hearing her father practice drums when she was a toddler, she immediately took an interest in music. As a teenager, she learned drums, guitar, and bass, alongside a talent of songwriting. She caught MTV's attention in 2009 by entering, and winning, a contest to write a theme song for MTV's show Parental Control. Her song "U Suck" which she played every instrument on, was featured in beginning and ending credits of the MTV show. On August 11, 2009, Kait's 4-track EP "Being On TV" was released.

Tours

2009 MTVu VMA Tour

Just Kait performed at select shows of the 2009 MTVu VMA tour with popular acts such as All Time Low and White Tie Affair.

Here Comes Trouble Tour

The band was added to the opening lineup of pop/rock band Honor Society's Here Comes Trouble Tour, along with Liquid Digital Media recording artist Ashlyne Huff. The tour ran from March through May of 2010, hitting cities all across the United States and into Canada.

2010 MTVu VMA Tour

Just Kait was once again invited to play two shows of the MTVu VMA Tour, alongside Never Shout Never, The Ready Set, and The 2AM Club.

Television

Just Kait's song titled "U Suck" was featured in beginning and ending credits of MTV's show Parental Control.
The Just Kait songs "Sick" and "U Suck" were featured on E! and MTV's summer 2010 playlists.
Kait of Just Kait was featured on MTV's show Silent Library with her spring touring mates Honor Society and Ashlyne Huff.
Just Kait was named Artist To Watch according to MTV.
Kait herself was featured in an MTV commercial sponsored by Kotex in September 2010.
