Aleksander Glondys, born on 30th January, 1957 in Bielsko - Biała in Poland is a Polish jazz drummer, performer and drummer as well as a noted translator who specializes in translations of the works concerning jazz and is considered as leading specialist in this area. He is also the inventor and leader of the Fascynacje - Fascinations project.
Since mid 80s he`s been working both as a musician and a translator while playing almost exclusively in Cracow.
Career
[edit]Aleksander Glondys made his debut around 1969 as part of the Dynastie and later Genesis band, playing along with his brother Krzysztof and Roman Nehrebecki, upon which was based one of the two main characters of the Bolek i Lolek animated series. In 1979 he was one of the creators of the Kwartet Jacka Kasza ( later Support )
