This page in a nutshell: This is an account that I will use to increase the quality of music-related pages. |
The reason why I created this account was mainly because I wanted a pseudonym for editing music-related pages. Since The Carpenters were my favorite group for the past three years, I wanted to see if the user "Karen Carpenter" was taken, and it was not. For that reason, I decided to take the opportunity given to me, and I registered myself under the username "Karen Carpenter". Now, please do not get confused: I am not a woman like Carpenter, but I do admire her abilities to sing. To this day, I believe she is the greatest singer in history (Paul McCartney and Richard Carpenter are my favorite arrangers in history).
The main purpose of this account is to peer edit, nominate (for both Good article and Featured article quality) music-related pages. My ultimate goal, however, is to make Wikipedia a better and, ultimately, a more wonderful place. Thanks for understanding! – Karen Carpenter (talk • contribs • count) 10:27, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
