I am not a frequent contributor to Wikipedia because I do not have much free time, but I do have vast experience in multiple scientific and engineering areas, as well as other domains of human knowledge, so I try to make additions and edits when I see an article needing attention in some way or another. I am an experienced photographer and I try to add images to Wikimedia whenever I see a need, if I get a chance. I hope to be able to create some new articles that are now missing from Wikipedia, as soon as I can find some time.
My areas of expertise are:
- Software engineering - high-performance distributed I/O and system control development environments, including a variety of tools involved in their development (programming languages, API, libraries, etc.)
- Various industrial engineering areas: quality control and metrology, automotive engineering, electronics
- Several scientific areas - physics, astronomy, computer science
- Photography
- Some sports - fencing, skiing, automobile racing, various team sports
- Broad world knowledge (from geographical, historical, linguistic and ethnic points of view)
