Onandjokwe Lutheran hospital is located in the Oshikoto Region in Northwestern Namibia. Onandjokwe is located approximately 750 km from Windhoek, the capital of Namibiaand 60 km from the Angolan border. Onandjokwe was started in 1908 by Lutheran Missionaries from Finland. It is under the manangement of the Lutheran church of Namibia. onandjokwe District has a size of approximately 25 000 km. It has an annual growth rate of 2.2 %. It is one of the oldest hospital in the Northern part of Namibia with 240 nurses, both fulltime and nursing students, as well as 22 doctors.--Kambandja (talk) 13:09, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
