Should drugs be legal in all part of the world?
INTRODUCTION
A drug is a substance or a chemical that the body absorbs readily, changing the way it functions. The medication that we take when we are sick is also a drug. There are many kinds of drugs, illegal drugs and legal drugs. Legal drugs are those that the government allows to manufacture and supply, but that does not mean that legal drugs are safe. The drugs have to be taken in a small specific quantity, in order to avoid its harmful effects.
DRUGS SHOULD NOT BE LEGALIZED IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
Some experts think that once a person gets a taste of any of these drugs, he would want more and more and more. Illegal drugs have a disastrous effect on our health and can lead a person to death. Constant drug use can lead to lung diseases, arthritis, heart problems, and irrecoverable brain damage.
Families of addicts of illegal drugs argue that legalizing drugs will just make the situation worse. They see their loved one committing suicide in front of their eyes. The addict craves for the drug and not having access to it leaves him in a pitiable condition. Drug addicts take away the charm of their lives, and of those who love them. Studies show a correlation between drug use and crime - violent crimes such as homicides, assaults and domestic violence. Why is this? It's quite simple - drugs cause violent behavior.
Most of them have turned their backs to their families not supporting them? Most of families go with empty stomach in bed because their bread-winners are addicted by drugs which lead them not to care about them. The world would look pretty much the same, Even if drugs are made legal. The people that use legalized drugs probably already use alcohol. “Let’s legalize drugs and tax them.” Governments would benefit from the tax money; farmers could make money too but drugs cartels would suffer. It would be more like a win-win situation.
DRUGS SHOULD BE LEGALIZED
On the other hand, a lot of people believe legalizing drugs will create job opportunities. It is known that people still sell drugs but through black-marketing. A lot of people especially Eastern Europe and America have became drug dealers.
CONCLUSSION
In my opinion I think drugs should not be legal due to the fact that it influences people to spend unnecessary. It is known that people spend more in drugs then in things that will benefit them and people around them.
