Kamal Setia (born:-17 August 1998) in a Punjabi Family in Faridabad, Haryana is an Indian pistol shooter. He is from Faridabad ,Haryana and competes in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol, 25 meter Center Fire pistol, and 25 meter standard pistol events. Kamal started Shooting in 2014.

Early Life

Setia was born and brought up in Faridabad , Haryana . He attended High school and Senior School at Manav Rachna International School Sec - 14 , Faridabad. His passion for shooting came when he attended a Shooting Class while exploring some other sports to join at his High School. The Person who saw talent in him was his first coach Anant Shivan Pratap Singh who himself was a international player

He had the full support of his Mother from the just beginning of his sports life. After Competing in 2014 in 10 M Air Events in all major competitions of shooting States , Zonal , Pre Nationals , Nationals. Then in 2015 in his school he got a chance to meet his Second coach Tapas Sikdar who himself was a very big player of his time in shooting , It was he who introduced Kamal to Real Shooting which consists of real ammunition.
