I'm a woman in my early forties living in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I've made a few small edits in the past (simply logged as my IP address, obviously!), but hope to contribute more in future to articles of interest to me. I'm also interested in WikiGnomic activities, as I feel these improve the accuracy, feel and professional image of Wikipedia and hence benefit everybody as well as spreading a little quiet goodwill. I'll sometimes perform minor edits for the purposes of grammar or rewording, but I know I'm fallible too and I'll certainly miss some things - particularly in long articles where I may just make a couple of grammatical clarifications to a section that really 'jumped out' at me. In these cases of minor editing, my intent obviously isn't to change any of the article's actual meaning, so if I ever inadvertently do so, just revert me!
If I ever seem to be exhibiting bias or violating NPOV in my edits, please do let me know in my talk page. It certainly won't have been intentional, but I'm new here and am perfectly willing to accept pointers if delivered in a constructive and friendly manner.
I love people, knowledge and places, and wish to treat all three with respect. Please afford me the same courtesy, and accept my apologies for the inevitable mistakes I'll make in the future. :-)
