J. Ryan Stradal (born September 5, 1975) is an American television producer and novelist. His first novel, Kitchens of the Great Midwest, was published in July 2015 and debuted on The New York Times Best Seller list for August 23, 2015.
Biography
[edit]Stradal was born in Carver, Minnesota. He is a producer of the reality television series Ice Road Truckers and Deadliest Catch.
He published his first novel, Kitchens of the Great Midwest, in 2015. Jessica Gelt of the Los Angeles Times called it a "lively portrait of a disparate group of Midwestern characters viewed through the prism of food" that is "part foodie fantasy, part family drama and all heart."[1]
