Several members of my family are affected by heritable connective tissue disorders. In order to gain a better understanding of each diagnosis, I have learned all I can about these syndromes and their many associated symptoms. I am glad to be able to share, through Wikipedia, my somewhat obscure knowledge and informational resources regarding these underdiagnosed disorders.
Learning about genetics and medical disorders has piqued my interest and fascination in this area of science, and I now aspire to earn a master's degree in human genetics, concentrating in genetic counseling. With only an undergraduate degree in graphic design and fine arts, it may take me a while to reach this goal! However, I am determined to further my understanding of medical genetics and to use my knowledge and skills to help others.
