I am a new Wikimedian. I am an undergraduate student at Emory University. My scholarly interests include American Studies and Rhetoric, Writing, and Information Design and I work to enhance existing information in Wikipedia and Wikidata to improve the scholarly record.  I am currently creating information about African American periodicals and editors as part of a class on race, gender, and media.  When I am editing Wikipedia and Wikidata, I strive to strictly abide by Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality, and notability. I will always work in the best interest of Wikipedia because that is in line with Emory's educational mission.
