Brent Longnecker (born May 22, 1956) is an author and executive compensation consultant[1] from Houston, Texas. He has published books with both WorldatWork and CCH (Commerce Clearing House) on topics such as stock options, restricted stock, and executive pay.

Education

Longnecker graduated from The University of Houston in 1977 with a degree in business marketing and finance. He continued his education at The University of Houston and received his master of business administration with a focus on business management and human resources.

Brent Longnecker currently serves as the Compensation committee Chairman for Amreit of Houston and Momentum Healthcare of Maryland.[2]

In 2007, Brent Longnecker attended a classroom discussion led by professors Jay W. Lorsch, V.G. Narayanan, and Krishna G Palepu at The Harvard School of Business entitled "Compensation Committees: New Challenges, New Solutions."[3]
