Brent Longnecker (born May 22, 1956) is an author and executive compensation consultant[1] from Houston, Texas. He has published books with both WorldatWork and CCH (Commerce Clearing House) on topics such as stock options, restricted stock, and executive pay.
Education
[edit]Longnecker graduated from The University of Houston in 1977 with a degree in business marketing and finance. He continued his education at The University of Houston and received his master of business administration with a focus on business management and human resources.
Board of Directorships
[edit]Brent Longnecker currently serves as the Compensation committee Chairman for Amreit of Houston and Momentum Healthcare of Maryland.[2]
In 2007, Brent Longnecker attended a classroom discussion led by professors Jay W. Lorsch, V.G. Narayanan, and Krishna G Palepu at The Harvard School of Business entitled "Compensation Committees: New Challenges, New Solutions."[3]
