Literary Terms:

Conflict

Conflict is the struggle between two or more parties in literary text. Conflict is most often seen between two or more characters but can sometimes be better explored between a character and there environment or mental state.

Imagery

Imagery is one of the most common used terms in literature. We use imagery to appeal to senses other than sight. The term has often been applied particularly to the figurative language used in a work, especially to its metaphors and similes.
