- I am completely rewriting the article for Raijin Comics. I am aiming for it to be a GA rank.

- I don't know why, but vinyl albums make me very happy...

- I just recently went to Amoeba Music's "Record Store Day" in Hollywood. Amoeba Music is the largest record store in the world. There was a live act of Wendy & Lisa, known for their collaborations with musician Prince. At Amoeba, I got the vinyl version of Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump by De La Soul. On my way to buy the album in the worlds largest line, a man complemented my choise. I finally bought the album, and later went to my favorite comic book store, where I got a major haul: Fist of the North Star: Master Edition, and seven half-priced Raijin Comics issues, both published by Gutsoon! Entertainment.

First things first, I am a very established otaku and a fan of the Jump manga magazine line. That does not include just Weekly Shōnen Jump, but rather the intire franchise. Just to name a few; Weekly Young Jump, Business Jump, Ultra Jump, and V Jump. Corresponding to my love for Jump magazines and my expertise in the history of them, I help Wikipedia by revamping their articles. As well, I am a expert in the history of manga altogether, and have rewritten the article for Chōjū-jinbutsu-giga, the first manga ever made. I managed to get the article to a B-class rank. Ironically, I do not watch much anime at all, I preffer to read their roots instead. My love of manga, has also led me to write and illustrate my own series, by the pen name (…) ~dotdotdot~. My manga are actually a hybrid between that and light novels, inspired by 1960s classic manga like Mach GoGoGo, Big X and Golgo 13 and hip hop music, mostly De La Soul. Yes, I am a hip hop fan, but only of brilliance like De La Soul and Organized Konfusion. I do not listen to crap like 50 Cent. Well, I'm glad that you went out of your way to click on a tiny link out of a million! Welcome!

The Special Barnstar | ||
I'm awarding you this barnstar because of your wonderful enthusiasm for working on anime and magazine articles, which has resulted in some great revitalization of interest in those articles, some great clean up work at Weekly Shōnen Jump, the long overdue creation of Shonen Jump, and the drafting of a new MoS for our magazine articles. I hope you will continue to learn and improve from criticisms and corrections, and not let them discourage you as you continue your journey as a Wikipedian! -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 21:46, 13 July 2008 (UTC) |
