Advanced Materials is: (1) the title of a Wiley journal focusing upon new materials derived using frontier or cutting edge science and technology; (2) a term of art referring to new [[materials[[ that incorporate very recently developed chemical components, mixtures of components, chemical processes and/or physical processes. Such advanced materials span a wide range of known materials, including polymers, plastics, metals and metal compounds, minerals of ever variety, etc.
