Mukesh is an Indian playback singer from Tamil Nadu. He was the winner of the reality-based singing competition Rajageetham. He began his playback career with the song Theekkuruvi.. from Movie Kangalal Kaithu Sei, composed by Academy Award Winner A.R Rahman. Before starting his playback career he was a stage performer and was a notable singer for singing old tamil songs.
Mukesh has performed in different stage shows in many Countries. And has a very good fan base in UK and Australia. Recently in January 15, 2010 he performed in Kalanjali Pongal Vizha at American International School, Kuwait. Apart from this he also participated in Vijay TV's show Paatu Paadavaa and won 5 levels before losing it.
