Kotaro Horiuchi is an architect/urbanist of Japanese origin, born on the 31st August 1978, in Nagoya(Japan). He was recognized as one of the new generation's best hundred architects in 2010. He graduated from the Meiji University, Tokyo, in architecture, and worked for Mecanoo Architecten, in Delft, PPAG archtekten, in Vienna, during the period from 2003 to 2005, continuing his carrer at DPA - Dominique Perrault Architecture, from 2005 to 2009. He then founded his own architectural office, under the name of Kotaro Horiuchi Architecture, in Paris, Tokyo and Nagoya.
