I edit when I have free time and when I feel like it. My edits generally include adjusting/fixing redirected links, delinking items that I feel are redundant/unnecessary in the context of the information detailed in the article, and cleaning up some parts of articles in order to make it look less cluttered/unorganized/excessive and more presentable/professional/accessible. I also sometimes add new information, fix grammar and spelling mistakes, and correct inaccurate information.
