The house of Nieświcki was a princely family in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and later the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of Ruthenian origin that had the title of Kniaz. The family split into sevral different branches Zbarski, Wiśniowiecki, Woroniecki, and Porycki who took their names from their estates. The family's progenitor was Prince Fedko Nieświcki who according to diiferent experts was of Rurikid or Gediminid descent.[1]
